Terms of Service
These terms explain the general rules for using this website and working with Ermete.

These Terms of Service apply to your use of this website and provide a general framework for Ermete services. A signed proposal, statement of work or service agreement may contain additional or different terms. If the documents conflict, the signed agreement controls that project.
1. About Ermete
Ermete provides Brand Identity, Websites, Organic Search, Google Ads, City Media coordination, Business Systems and related professional services. Ermete is based in British Columbia and works with clients across Canada.
2. No guarantee of results
Marketing, search, advertising, media and business results depend on market conditions, competition, client participation, third-party platforms and other factors. Ermete does not guarantee rankings, leads, revenue, return on investment, media performance or any specific business result.
3. Proposals and scope
Work begins only after both parties approve a written scope. The proposal should state the deliverables, responsibilities, timeline, assumptions, fees, payment schedule and exclusions. Work outside the approved scope may require a change order, a new timeline or additional fees.
4. Client responsibilities
Clients must provide accurate information, required access, materials, feedback and approvals on time. Delays may affect the schedule and cost. The client is responsible for final factual, legal, regulatory and professional review of supplied or approved content.
5. Fees and payment
Fees, deposits, recurring charges and payment dates are stated in the written agreement. Unless stated otherwise, prices are in CAD and taxes are separate. Advertising spend, media inventory, software, hosting, domains, photography, video and extensive copywriting may also be separate.
6. Cancellations and pauses
Cancellation, rescheduling and pause terms are stated in the written agreement. Completed work, committed third-party costs and approved non-refundable deposits may remain payable.
7. Advertising, search and media platforms
Third-party platforms control approvals, auctions, policies, account access, delivery and availability. Ermete cannot guarantee platform approval, uninterrupted access, placement, cost or performance.
8. Third-party services
Projects may use hosting providers, domains, software, media vendors, APIs or other third-party services. Ermete is not responsible for changes, outages, suspensions, price changes, data loss or restrictions caused by those providers.
9. Intellectual property
Unless a written agreement says otherwise, Ermete keeps ownership of its existing methods, tools, templates, code libraries and knowledge. The client keeps ownership of materials it supplies. Final deliverables are licensed or transferred according to the written agreement and payment status. Drafts, rejected concepts and unpaid work remain Ermete property.
10. Confidentiality
Ermete will take reasonable care when handling confidential client information. A separate agreement may include specific confidentiality terms. Do not send highly sensitive information through a public website form.
11. Website use
You may not interfere with the website, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, copy substantial content for commercial use, misrepresent your identity or use the website unlawfully.
12. External links
This website may link to third-party websites. Ermete is not responsible for their content, availability, security or privacy practices.
13. Disclaimer
This website and its general content are provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent allowed by law, Ermete excludes warranties that are not stated in a written agreement.
14. Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, Ermete is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses caused only by use of the public website. The written agreement controls liability related to services.

Ermete may update these Terms. The effective date shows the current version.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
